Sherbourne - Quince

While taking an alternative route home from work one day, we noticed a large display of quince fruit on offer along Sherbourne St, between the brewery and the next village over, Boxford. We had never worked with quince before and got in touch with the owner of the house to see if we could possibly have a few more. We were invited to the house to help ourselves and, after filling our car with the large yellow fruit, set about finding a beer to add it to! We decided upon a 2 barrel blend of a golden & amber sour. The quince adds a level of delicate honeyed sweetness, with a touch of bitterness. Super easy drinking and great with a cheese board!
